Greetings from Geraldine

Well, someone has to begin this loaded discussion, and as the older but not wiser member of this duo, I am going to ask my younger compadre Georgiana some questions! And of course we'd love to know what anyone things who stumbles across this blog.

What is a frenemy exactly? If it's what I think, kind of a part friend and part enemy, then can you have a relationship with a frenemy?

Maybe I can take a stab at the second question after all. I think the key is as the title suggests: Know your frenemy. Maybe that way you can have an informed relationship.

At some point the balance shifts though, to where there isn't enough friend and too much enemy.

This is where I have been clueless all my considerable years. It always surprises me that someone might be gunning for me instead of rooting for me! As Jerry Seinfeld's mother said of him, "Who wouldn't like Jerry?". And that's the way I think about myself (this is embarassing but true).
